On the island of Finnhamn in Stockholms mellersta skärgård, Ragnars kiosk rents out kayak and SUP by the water. Finnhamn is reached by Waxholm boat and is a classic excursion and camp destination in the Österåker part of the archipelago.

The rental has a dozen simple and stable beginner kayaks and a number of SUP boards.You paddles in the protected Paradise Bay or out against the surrounding cobbles and cuts for a longer trip.
Good to know
The kayaks fit beginners in protected water, but the outer areas are more open and wind-prone – stay close to the land if you are above, check the weather and always carry the life jacket.
