What is the most important thing to pack for a canoe trip?

Life jacket, dry reserve clothes in waterproof bag, water and something to eat, as well as phone in waterproof case. Cold water is the biggest risk, so prioritize what keeps you warm and fluid.

How to keep the packing dry in canoe?

Use waterproof pack bags (drybags) and pack them even if you have a canoe without lid. Surra the fixed packing so it doesn’t float away if you edge.

What clothes should you wear when you paddle?

Clothes after the water temperature, not just the air temperature. Avoid cotton; choose wool or synthetic that heats even wet. Always have a dry change in waterproof bag.
