At Stora Hornsjön lies the canoe storage that belongs to Stättaredsgården. The map pin is the lean-to at the small bathing place, not the farm. Keys and life jackets are collected at the farm before you come here.

The lake is large and clear, with bays and shores. When you paddle out of the sheltered bay the wind often increases. Keep the edge and have a plan for getting ashore. A fishing permit is required if you fish; that is a separate matter from the canoe hire.
Good to know
You cannot drive all the way to the beach. Follow the signs to parking and count on a carry. Leave room for swimmers at the put-in. Always wear a life jacket.
