Kanotled Forsbacka–Gävle follows Gavleån from the mill town Forsbacka in towards Gävle in Gästrikland – a city-close paddle on quiet river water through forest and cultural countryskap.
The river is mostly still-flowing and forgiving for a day trip, but check water level and any dams or carries along the way. Always wear a life jacket.
