This canoe trail follows Göta kanal from the lake Boren at Borensberg through the channel to Ljungsbro in Östergötland. A unique paddling along one of Sweden’s most famous waterways, past locks and cultural environments.
The water is calm and grateful, but respect locks, channel traffic and local rules for paddling in the canal. Rent kayak in the area, for example via Kayakomat Motala. Always wear the life jacket.
