Höga Kusten Kajakcenter is at Norrfjärden near Skuleberget in Ångermanland, in the middle of the World Heritage of the High Coast. They rent out sea kayaking and run courses and guided tours in one of Sweden’s most dramatic sea kayaking waters.
What they offer
They rent out sea kayaking (June–August), hold beginners’ classes at Gällstasjön and arrange guided evening paddles and longer trips. Here you paddle along a steep coast with high rock islands that rise directly out of the sea and protected lagoons between.
Good to know
The High Coast is open and weather sensitive – beginners should paddle guided or stick to protected water, while the habit paddlers can head out to the islands. Booking in advance is required, and always wears the life jacket.
