Immelns Kanotcenter sits on lake Immeln about twenty kilometres north of Kristianstad in north-east Skåne, on the border with Blekinge. Immeln is a long lake with clear water and over 200 islands – pleasant water for canoe and kayak.
What they offer
They rent aluminium canoes and kayaks, with extra kit such as pack barrels, dry bags, frying pans and Trangia stoves to add on. On site there is a kiosk and an outdoor shop, and they also arrange guided fishing and fishing licences.
Good to know
The centre is open roughly from Easter to autumn, with flexible hours in spring and fixed hours June–August. Immeln is large and full of islands – bring a map, watch the wind over open water and always wear a life jacket.
