Ljustorps Kanotuthyrning is run by Ljustorps bygdegård and IF on Ljustorpsån in Timrå municipality, in Medelpad. Here you paddle a winding river through handsome Norrland farmland.
What they offer
You rent a canoe at the sports ground in Ljustorp and paddle about 4–5 hours down Ljustorpsån to the take-out in Lögdö, where the canoe is collected. Paddle and life jacket are included, and the canoes are put out in the morning.
Good to know
The river depends on water level and can close in drought – check the current situation before you go. Bring a change of clothes, plan to your ability and always wear a life jacket.
