Nordic Discovery is based in Kloten in Malingsbo-Kloten nature reserve, in Bergslagen on the border country of Västmanland. They rent canoe, kayak and SUP for paddling in the reserve’s lake system and are an approved eco-tourism operator and canoe centre.
What they offer
The range covers rental of canoe, kayak, SUP, rowing boat and bike plus guided trips – from canoe and kayak tours to moose and beaver safari and night paddling. There are cabins and lodging on site, and they arrange transport in the area.
Good to know
They are open daily in summer and by booking in the low season. The lakes of Malingsbo-Kloten are calm and forgiving, but bring a map, plan to your ability and always wear a life jacket.
