Orust Kajak is based at Stocken on western Orust in Bohuslän and rents sea kayak and SUP for paddling in the island’s rocky archipelago. From here you reach classic destinations such as the fishing village Gullholmen and the sandy beaches of Härmanö.
What they offer
You can rent for anything from three-hour trips to a full day and multi-day adventures. The kayaks are stable and suit different experience, and you get help with route suggestions and personal guidance. Life jacket, paddle and spray deck are included.
Good to know
No previous experience is needed for the sheltered stretches, but Bohuslän’s outer archipelago is exposed to wind – check the weather, stay in the lee if you are inexperienced and always wear a life jacket.
