Paddelkompaniet is a family business that rented kayak in Järnavik in Blekinge for over 25 years and operates the canoe center at the Friluftscentrum Karlsnäsgården outside Ronneby. Karlsnäsgården is the end point for the Ronnebyån canoe trail.
What they offer
At Karlsnäsgården you rent canoe, kayak and SUP for a few hours or a full day – here are some fifty canoes to rent. Ronnebyåns canoe trail is about 70 km long and goes from Hovmantorp in Småland down to Karlsnäsgården, but can also be paddled in shorter stages. Paddelkompaniet also rents sea kayak in Järnavik in the archipelago.
Good to know
Ronnebyån is mostly quiet and also fits beginners, while the archipelago requires weather check. Check water level and weather, bring map and always carry the life jacket.
