Rejmyre Kanotbas is at the small-boat harbour on lake Hunn in Rejmyre, northern Östergötland. Here you rent canoe and kayak for trips in a lake-rich forest landscape on the border with Södermanland.
What they offer
The base has around twenty canoes and kayaks with paddles, life jackets and trolleys. The area holds hundreds of lakes linked by streams and sounds, so you can paddle long stretches with few portages. Fine rest spots and lean-tos lie along the routes around Hunn, Östjuten and Tvärsjöarna.
Good to know
The water is mostly quiet inland water and suits beginners and families as well, but bring a map and plan day stages to your ability. Always wear a life jacket and check the weather before you go out.
