SFK Pelikanen rents canoes at the club cabin by Storsjön in Viskafors, south of Borås. The point on the map is the cabin where the canoes lie, not the petrol station in Viskafors. The public may hire; you need not be a member.
What they offer
The club has Linder canoes at the cabin, plus rowing boats at the same place. The key is picked up at Viskafors Bensin on Varbergsvägen 150 in Viskafors. Fishing permits are sold there too. Current price and opening hours are with the club and the agent.
Good to know
Storsjön is regulated. At the cabin there is a put-in, a ramp and parking. The municipality has an accessible barbecue area at the same cabin, open to the public. A life jacket is required. The boat on Viskan is out of service according to the club. Not Bosjön Kanotcentral in Bosnäs.
