Wetlandi Canoe Center is in Näsum in north-eastern Skåne, on Ivösjön – Skåne’s largest lake – and winding Holjeån. Since 2006 they have rented canoe and kayak for trips in a water-rich landscape on the border with Blekinge.
What they offer
Besides canoes and kayaks they rent extra gear such as waterproof pack barrels, stoves and maps. They give trip ideas from short day trips to multi-day adventures and can tailor setups for families, schools and groups.
Good to know
Holjeån is slow-moving and Ivösjön more open water – check the wind over the lake, plan for your ability and always wear a life jacket. Booking is through their website.
