Lakeside Adventure rents canoe and kayak in Hallstahammar on Strömsholms kanal, in Västmanland. They are an approved canoe centre with Svenska Kanotförbundet and operate from several places in the region.

They offer ready-made packages with map, kit and transport, plus guided trips from day outings to week-long expeditions. Canoe and kayak come with paddle and life jacket, and they have set-ups for beginners, schools and groups with delivery to the put-in.

Strömsholms kanal and the waters of Västmanland are mostly calm and forgiving. Bring a map, plan to your ability and always wear a life jacket. Respect locks and other traffic on the canal.
